Rooted in aloha, family, and a deep respect for the ocean, Ocean Charters Kaua‘i was created to share meaningful experiences on the waters of Kaua‘i. Inspired by generations of local knowledge and a love for the sea, our mission goes beyond simply taking people out on a boat — it’s about creating connection, unforgettable memories, and experiences that feel authentic to Hawai‘i.

Born and raised on Kaua‘i, Captain Erik Rita is most at home on the ocean. His upbringing, military experience, integrity, and passion for the water shape every experience we offer. Together with his family and crew, Ocean Charters Kaua‘i is committed to creating safe, memorable, and adventure-filled days on the water for both visitors and kamaʻāina.

As a family-owned and locally operated business, we believe in honoring the ocean through pono practices, respect for the ʻāina and the sea, and responsibly sharing the beauty of Kaua‘i with others. From fishing and snorkeling to whale watching and custom ocean adventures, every charter is designed with flexibility, care, and genuine aloha.
