At Ocean Charters Kaua‘i, we use time-tested techniques and island know-how to target reef predators using live bait, chunk bait, specialty lures, and jigging—or head offshore to troll for pelagic species like ahi, mahi mahi, ono, and marlin. Whether it’s your plan or what the ocean conditions call for, we mix methods and read the water to create a solid, authentic day on the ocean.

Kaimanu is larger and more stable than many other charter boats, offering a smoother ride and more space to move comfortably.

    • 1-6 passengers: $900

    • 7-11 passengers: $200/person added to $1000 base rate

  • More time on the water to explore, fish deeper, and increase your chances of landing bigger catches.

    • 1-6 passengers: $1400

    • 7-11 passengers: $200/person added to the $1400 base rate

Additional Information

  • Prices do not include taxes, harbor fee, cc fee, online booking fee, or gratuities for crew members.

  • Cancellation policy is 14 days prior to your scheduled charter date.

  • A saltwater fishing license is required (https://dlnr.hawaii.gov/dar/licenses-and-permits/nonresident-recreational-marine-fishing-license/)

  • All your tackle and expert instruction are provided.

  • A light lunch (sandwich & chips) or a deluxe catered lunch can be arranged for an additional charge upon request for our private fishing charters of 6 hours or longer.

  • Minimum age requirement for private charters is 7 yrs.

  • Minimum age requirement for shared offshore fishing charters is 7 yrs.

  • Bottom Fishing (deep sea) minimum age requirement is 5 yrs.

  • Kids’ Reef fishing trips have a minimum age of 5 yrs.

  • Kids’ Light tackle trolling trips minimum age is 5 yrs.

  • Whale Watching/fishing combo minimum age is 3 yrs.

  • Not recommended for pregnant women, anyone with a history of health, heart, or back problems, or the disabled, including anyone who has had any recent surgeries.
